Natures Grace
We are so blessed to live in such a beautiful world. I always feel at peace when I take a walk outside, amazing nature does its thing and its a extra blessing to feel some fabulous sunshine.

Botanicals, Birds and a few of my favorite things…
I have always loved botanicals, It amazes me at the detail in the way the flowers and plants are captured. I also like the old world plates of Birds and how both of these are numbered, titled and collected into sketch books. Vintage oil paintings and the crackle of the canvas when visiting art museums always capture my eye. I thought it would be fun to number these paintings. My Hope in painting them oversized was a combination of the old world look with a modern twist. My love of flowers, nature and birds makes my heart happy when I paint them.
Haven Place
When I painted this series I thought of my happy place. Either at our cabin on the lake, or at the beach watching my children play, or the vacations I was blessed to go to many beautiful beaches where my feet are in the sand and there is a smile on my face and all is well with my soul… this is my Haven. I hope my artwork will bring you the same joy.
Collected Vistas
This series is a collection of favorite moments, views, and images. I noticed when I started to paint again that as I looked out at the beautiful world God created, amazing views looked like paintings to me or at least something I really wanted to capture and paint. Have you ever had one of the moments when you wish you could stop time? To me God is the best artist but in this series, I’m trying to use the gift he gave me to paint a special moment in time that I enjoyed. I hope these Vistas spark some emotion in you and bring a little beauty to your world.
